    1951 - Family Portrait

    The Aleixo Family starts producing wine and selling it in bulk.

  • 1960

    They start bottling wines: the first brand “Aleixo” is launched.

  • 1971

    The second generation of the family assumes control and builds new facilities.

  • 1975

    1975

    The production capacity increases by 50% and they receive several quality awards.

  • 1989

    1989

    A new bottling line is installed and the production area increases to supply the strong demand.

  • 1996

    1996

    The third generation of the Aleixo family joins the company and a new modern winery is built.

  • 2008

    2008

    A strong investment in R&D is made (a 10 year business plan).

  • 2011

    2011

    The top priority is the export with very positive results from R&D.

  • 2014

    The 40th international market is attained, with an exponential strong demand.

  • 2015

    Since 2015 we participate in all Prowine exhibitions: Düsseldorf, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

    The company is now a constant presence in the major wine & food fairs across the world and has been awarded for its innovations in international trade exhibitions.
